Meeting Business Needs

A key client in the mobile industry regularly directed their business partners to use the consulting company I worked for to run usability studies. We analyzed results and put out reports within two weeks to meet their requirement for detailed results, reporting and recommendations for change. With the tight timelines in the mobile industry, they needed preliminary results faster in order to start adjusting plans for release.

We needed to find a way to get the potential issues to the client right away.

I created worksheets for tracking qualitative and quantitive observations, and automatically generating summary statistics, and then trained the other team members to use these tools.

We used the worksheets I created to deliver same-day preliminary results to the client, meeting their need and ensuring that they continued to refer their business partners to our company.
